The Darkness Trap is the Huntress's fourth defense (unlocks at level 11). This defense blinds weaker enemies for the duration and strips them of their elemental immunity. Blinded enemies cannot see heroes or other defenses to attack; this can lead them into hugging up against walls without attacking them.

The Darkness Trap costs 70 mana to place and takes up 3 defense units.

Between all other Huntress defenses, the darkness trap has:

  • The lowest amount of health.
  • The lowest amount of damage it deals to enemies (0).
  • The third-highest range.

After 2,000 rune power in rune of fortify, the benefits of additional rune power start to look more linear (with diminishing returns).

After 2,000 rune power in rune of range, the benefits to the effective range of additional rune power start to look more linear (with diminishing returns). After 1,000 rune power in rune of range, the benefits to the target range start to look more linear (with diminishing returns).

After 2,000 rune power in rune of defense rate, the benefits of allocating additional rune power start to look more linear (with diminishing returns).
